LET’S KEEP IT BETWEEN US: DELICIOUS DELICACIES ARE IN OUR PRODUCER MARKETS WITHOUT ANY INTERMEDIARIES”

Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce, together with Republican People's Party (CHP) Eskişehir Deputy Utku Çakırözer, visited Bağlar Producer Market and Children's Rights Unit. Stating that producer markets provide services without any intermediaries, Mayor Ünlüce said, "We support more than 30 cooperatives from all over Türkiye."

First visiting the Producer Market, Mayor Ünlüce and MP Çakırözer examined the local products sold in the market. They received information from the staff about the products offered for sale, and especially about the sale of 5-liter Dorlion olive oil, which was offered for sale recently.

Mayor Ünlüce emphasized that producer markets serve as an important bridge between the cooperative supporting local producers and the citizens, and said, “Between us, delicious delicacies are in our Producer Markets! We support more than 30 cooperatives from all over Türkiye in our Producer Markets. The interest shown by our citizens in our own brand Dorlion olive oil in our markets is also pleasing.”

She stated that increasing product diversity and supporting local producers provides both economic and social benefits.

The second stop of the visit was the Children's Rights Unit. Ünlüce and Çakırözer chatted with the children here and received information about the unit's activities. Mayor Ünlüce, who touched on the importance of the work done on children's rights to life and well-being, stated that children are the future of society and that they will always make more efforts to protect and improve their rights.

Making statements after the visit, Ünlüce and Çakırözer stated that Eskişehir will continue to be an example with its sensitivity towards local production and children's rights.
