Organized as part of the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Türkiye and China, Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality hosted the exhibition titled "Dialogue and Integration." Addressing guests at the exhibition's opening, marked by a splendid ceremony, Eskişehir Metropolitan Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce emphasized that "this gathering, formed through the universal language of art, demonstrates, once again how cultures can integrate through dialogue and expand shared values."
The exhibition, held at the Atatürk Culture, Arts, and Congress Center, highlighted the cultural ties between the two countries through the universal language of art. The opening ceremony of the exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, Changzhou Institute of Technology (CIT), and Anadolu University, was attended by Eskişehir Metropolitan Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce, Jiang Xuebin, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Türkiye, Anadolu University Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Adıgüzel, Vice President of Changzhou Institute of Technology Prof. Gan Fangqun, along with academics, artists, and numerous art enthusiasts.
Speaking at the opening, Anadolu University Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Adıgüzel highlighted the exhibition's significant contribution to cultural exchange between the two countries, saying, "Artists from different disciplines reinterpret the symbolic heritage of the past through contemporary forms of expression. Each work carries a current trace of cultural interaction between Türkiye and China. Such gatherings are invaluable steps that strengthen mutual understanding and build lasting connections."
Jiang Xuebin, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Türkiye, stressed that culture is one of the strongest elements connecting the two peoples. Ambassador Jiang Xuebin, noting that there are many commonalities between Turkish and Chinese cultures, stated that cultural diplomacy plays an indispensable role in bilateral relations and emphasized that this exhibition holds special significance in the 55th year of diplomatic ties.
Eskişehir Metropolitan Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce also emphasized that the exhibition is a powerful example of dialogue through art. She said, "We are delighted to host the works of artists from Anadolu University and our sister city, Changzhou Institute of Technology. This gathering, built through the universal language of art, once again demonstrates how different cultures can integrate through dialogue and how shared values can be strengthened."
Certificates were presented to Ma Haishan, the designer of the logo created for the 55th anniversary of Türkiye-China diplomatic relations, as well as to the participating artists at the opening. Following the speeches, the program continued with a musical recital and a dance performance.
Attracting keen interest from art enthusiasts, the "Dialogue and Integration" exhibition--a vivid reflection of the friendship and cultural exchange between the two countries through art--will remain open to visitors until February 13.
