Reminding the announcement of 2026 as the Year of Eskişehir, Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce addressed her New Year wishes to the residents of Eskişehir. Mayor Ünlüce reminded that the special 2026 design, created to give meaning to this unique year, has also been shared with the public.

Every color tells a story, every motif celebrates a culture, and every symbol represents the city's collective values.
The first two digits in the design speak with the silent yet powerful language of Yazılıkaya.
The traces the Phrygians etched into the rocks stand as a testament to Eskişehir's earliest heritage. This ancient heritage, shaped by rock monuments, whispers through the city, revealing how deep its roots run.
''0'' carries the geometric elegance of the Seljuks and the historical legacy of these lands.
Motifs embodying the ideas of order, balance, and infinity reveal, in an abstract way, Eskişehir's historical continuity and the aesthetic imprints of various civilizations.
