CANOE EXCITEMENT HAS BEGUN IN ESKİŞEHİR

The "2025 Turkish Stillwater Canoe Championship," organized jointly by the Turkish Canoe Federation and Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, kicked off with great enthusiasm at Sarısungur Reservoir in Eskişehir.

602 athletes from 45 clubs are competing in the event, which is part of the Turkish Canoe Federation's 2025 activity program and hosted by the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality. The championship kicked off with heats for the 1000 meters and 500 meters.

The competitors, including athletes from the Eskişehir Metropolitan Sports Club, will compete fiercely over four days.

The championship, which will feature the 500m semifinals and finals on Monday, August 11th, and conclude with the grand final and trophy ceremony on Tuesday, August 12th, promises to be an unforgettable experience for both athletes and spectators.
