COLORFUL AND EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN FROM THE METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY
The Children's Rights Unit of the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Department of Social Services organizes enjoyable workshops to support children's development through the Dreams Workshop.
The Children's Rights Unit, operating under the umbrella of the Department of Social Services, offers specialized educational programs for different age groups at the Dreams Workshop located on Sanat Street to develop children's social, emotional, cognitive, and motor skills.
Games and activities are designed to develop language, cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills for children aged 2-3, while workshops for children aged 4-5 include "Nature's Story," "Drama with Fairy Tales," "Dance, Rhythm, and Drama," "Emotional Awareness," and "Little Farmers," aiming to foster children's self-expression and inquisitive thinking skills.
Creative Drama and PC4-based workshops are offered for children aged 8-12, while chess and mind games support children's strategic thinking skills in the 5-10 age group. Additionally, the "Baby Library" workshop provides parental training to support babies' developmental processes.
Children's Rights Unit instructors stated that the Dreams Workshop aims to contribute to the healthy and balanced development of children.
